Rhymes

I occasionally write stuff that ryhmes. Going at my past rate of 1 in a year, i should be upto something soon. Here goes or comes, watever:-)

Setting:B'day of a classmate@college.
May you age like old wine,
and every year bring a new sunshine
may your all wishes come true,
and life open new doors for you.
Doors with locks and girls with locks
may all succumb to your charms
and may your road ahead be far from forlon
Life is great coz everyone does seal his own fate
so may you enjoy the challenges that life throws
and may you be wise enough to realize which ones to let go
and in others may you fight with all your might
and become better and better by learning from hindsight
and success shall not be far from thee
and hence my friend may you shape your own destiny


Setting: A new year far away from home and friends
things come and go
for good or bad,
we have grown older,
for this i am sad,
another year has gone by,
a new one stands in the womb,
ready to lay the previous one in its tomb,
that is how life is,
new things come and old things go
May we be as graceful in adapting to change
accepting new things without disdain
letting go of our fears,
wiping out our tears
by drinking lots of beer,
for beer is a wonderful thing.
it does make our head spin,
and brings us closer to Him,
for a drunkard is a true person,
one who does not lie,
and holds a special place in His eye.
So have lots of beer,
here is wishing you a Happy New Year
